  • Black Knights' Fortress
  • Druidic Ritual

  • Molten glass
  • 20 un-noted Rune essence or pure essence (you'll get them back)
  • The player must deliver all 20 rune essence at once
  • Light source (Note: Candles, torches and oil lamps can cause swamp gas explosions if going off-route, and need a tinderbox to stay lit)

Recommended

  • 15 Combat
  • Armour and some food.
  • Stamina or energy potions.
  • Fast travel to several locations that are always visited during the quest
  • Falador (Falador teleport)

  • Grave of Scorpius (Ourania Teleport, spirit tree to Battle of Khazard, or ring of dueling to Castle Wars)

Enemies to defeat

  • Black Knight (level 32)
  • Solus Dellagar

Ironman notes

  • The player must have 20 inventory spots to deliver all 20 rune essence at once. If the miniquest Enter the Abyss has been completed, the table in the rune shop may be used to hold rune essence from multiple trips to bring to the nearby chaos altar while inventory items are dropped without the worry of them despawning.

Hunt for Solus

  1. 01

Head to Canifis and Savant will call you. (fairy ring CKS)

  2. 02

Use the "scan" option of the Commorb near the bank in Canifis to unveil Solus Dellagar.

  3. 03

  4. Keep tracking down Solus Dellagar by following the item clues until you get the 20 noted pure essence. There are 7 locations in total that you will visit.

  5. Note: On the fourth scan location, Solus will ward the player off with a strong cast of Flames of Zamorak, dealing a high percentage of your current Hitpoints total. This damage will not kill you and Savant will teleport you back to Falador.

  6. Note: On the sixth scan location, Solus will summon a level 32 Black Knight that attempts to kill the player. Be prepared for this, however it is not necessary to kill this Black Knight.
