Brimhaven is a members-only pirate town located on north-western Karamja, led by the wealthy Scarface Pete. Although it is mainly inhabited by pirates, it's also the home of Sandy's Sand Corporation and contains outposts of two Varrockian crime gangs aiming to rob the pirate leader. The street from The Shrimp and Parrot restaurant to Davon's Amulet Store is called Palm Street.

Several transport options bring players into or close to Brimhaven, listed here with their arrival destination. From closest to farthest:

Teleport to House — Brimhaven house portal. Requires a POH in Brimhaven.
Achievement diary cape — Pirate Jackie the Fruit.
Spirit trees — Northern Brimhaven. Requires 83 Farming.
Fairy code BJR — Fisher Realm, which can be exited by blowing the magic whistle, landing near the Brimhaven mine.
Minigame teleport — TzHaar Fight Pits, in the dungeon east of Brimhaven. Usable once every 20 minutes.
Amulet of glory teleports players to Musa Point, east of Brimhaven.

Additionally, many forms of non-teleport transport exist:

Players can sail to and from East Ardougne by paying Captain Barnaby 30 coins at his ship on the northern Brimhaven docks. Wearing a Ring of Charos(a) will allow the player to travel for free.
Hajedy will offer players rides in his cart to Shilo Village for a fee of 200 coins after completion of the Shilo Village quest.
Players may also take the Karamja ship in Port Sarim used for Dragon Slayer I and Pirates Treasure for 30 coins, then walk west past the volcano. There are no requirements on the gate.

History

The following lore is sourced from the Varrock Museum, dialogue with Kangai Mau, dialogue with Cap'n Izzy No-Beard, dialogue with Tiadeche, the guide book, and Herman's book.

It is unknown exactly when Brimhaven formed, although the land appears on a map dating back to the Fourth Age. At some point, settlers from the mainland arrived, either displacing the native population or coming to an area which was abandoned by its previous population. While multiple tribes are known to have existed in the greater Karamja area, less evidence exists of who directly lived in the land that would later become Brimhaven when mainland settlers arrived early in the Fifth Age.

A treasure hunter who came to the area later found a massive cave under the surface with traps and platforms leading in all directions. He theorised that an ancient civilisation had made it, although the exact creators are still unknown. After more and more settlers arrived, the village grew in size, and began exporting karambwans across Gielinor. Regular transport was soon created that linked the city to Ardougne. At some point, a wizard from the mainland arrived and encouraged the local tribes to charge visitors to enter the caves below.

With expansion came businesses, such as a sand-shipping business, as well as gang activity. Notably, the Black Arm Gang and the Phoenix Gang both established bases in the pirate town, maintaining a presence to this day.

Range house	A house with a range, just below the Black Arm Gang headquarters, useful for cooking caught karambwanji.
Sandy's Sand Corp building	A small administrative building.
ScarFace Pete's mansion	A large mansion that players in the Black Arm Gang may enter, found in the centre of town.
The Shrimp and Parrot	A restaurant which stocks cooked fish, but is in fact a cover for the Phoenix Gang.

Docks

The docks host a ship to Ardougne, which travels each way and costs 30 coins to ride. The charter ships also have a dock, and provide rides to several other locations. After completing Cabin Fever, the charter ship fare is reduced by 50%. Wearing the Ring of Charos(a) also reduces the fare by 50%. These two bonuses can be stacked to reduce the cost to 25%.

Skill training spots

Players looking to train Fishing can catch karambwanji at several spots south of the town. The town also hosts the Brimhaven Agility Arena, where players can test their Agility level and earn tickets for doing so. To the north-west of the area is the Brimhaven mine, featuring 10 gold rocks. Finally, there are several farming patches, including a spirit tree patch and a fruit tree patch, the latter of which is commonly used during Farming runs.

Players looking to train combat can take the swing to nearby Moss Giant Island, a small island with 5 moss giants.

The Brimhaven Dungeon is a massive dungeon below Brimhaven, home to dragons (red, bronze, iron and steel) and several other monsters.
