Shipwrights are NPCs found at large ports. They offer several boat-related services such as:

If the requirements to dock at a Shipwrights respective port are not met, the only assistance they will provide is the option to destroy a boat.

At low levels the fastest means of accessing a bank and shipwright via teleport is by using Catherby Teleport or a Catherby teleport (tablet).

Shipwrights are always paired with a Shipwrights' Workbench.

At level 67, Deepfin Point becomes fastest if you have a sailors' amulet.

Every shipwright's name is an alliteration. In addition, aside from "Junior Jim", this makes all of their initials become "S.S.", a common ship prefix historically used for screw steamers/steamships.
