The Shipyard is an island located in the Shrouded Ocean, south-west of the Isle of Souls, where boats can be customised. The location can be sailed to directly, but an invisible barrier outside the harbour prevents players' ships from docking. Instead, it must be accessed by teleporting from a port.
Logging out inside the Shipyard will place you outside near the Shipwright you used to access the Shipyard.
Transportation
To travel to the island, speak to any Shipwright at a port or select the "Customise-boat" right-click option. Players that have a Bank PIN are required to enter it. Your boat must be docked in the same port as the shipwright. Note that not all ports have a shipwright.
Before level 20 Sailing, the fastest means of accessing a bank and shipwright via teleport is by using a Catherby Teleport or a Catherby teleport (tablet). At level 67, Deepfin Point becomes fastest with a Sailors' amulet.

Seb's Shipyard Supplies
Shipwright Seb stands south of the Boat schematics board. He runs Seb's Shipyard Supplies and sells basic materials for ship construction and repair kits. Seb will also repair boats for a cost of 50 coins per hitpoint.
Features
- A Boat schematics board.
- A crate of hammers and a crate of saws provide free construction tools.
- A Shipwrights' Workbench
- Oak, maple, and yew trees are located around the island, though not all are reachable.
- An anvil is located next to the Shipyard Engineer.

Trivia
- A version of the Shipyard existed in the March 2025 Sailing Alpha and June 2025 Sailing Beta. It was an instanced copy of the shipyard on Karamja, accessed by speaking to any Shipwright. During the pre-release periods, unlimited supplies were provided in the shipyard to upgrade boats and build facilities, and the Shipyard Portal transported players back from the shipyard.
