Asgarnian ale is a type of ale that restores 1 Hitpoint and temporarily boosts Strength by 2 while draining Attack by ⌊Level×5100⌋+2 (see table below). It can be obtained through brewing at level 24 Cooking granting 248 experience. It is brewed using 2 buckets of water, 2 barley malt, 4 asgarnian hops, and a pot of ale yeast. The stronger, mature version of the ale is the Asgarnian ale(m).
4 Asgarnian ales are required during the Recipe for Disaster Dwarf subquest, where they are turned into Asgoldian ale by using a coin on them. One is also required for the Death Plateau quest.

- According to the book Gielinor's flora - hops, Asgarnian ale is known for having a malt-focused, caramelly sweet taste.
- If the player decides to become a squire against Sir Tiffy Cashien's advice during the Wanted! quest, then Sir Amik Varze will endlessly request a glass of Asgarnian ale until you speak to Sir Tiffy Cashien again to undo this.
