Draynor Manor has a new resident and, adventurers rejoice, she is a damsel in distress. Far from being Sleeping Beauty, she finds the Manor's beds not to her liking and is suffering from insomniac nights. If you fancy yourself able to aid Ava in her search for a good night's sleep, who knows what the budding scientist will produce as a reward?

Preparation
Requirements are gates. Recommendations are comfort and risk controls, not mandatory levels unless the game enforces them.

- Mithril axe (required to obtain the blessed axe; no other type of axe will do)
- 5 iron bars unnoted
- Ghostspeak amulet (Morytania legs will not work)
- 20 ecto-tokens (or 4 bones, 4 buckets, and 4 pots to gain the tokens)
- Hammer
- Hard leather
- Holy symbol
- Polished buttons
Recommended
- 10 more ecto-tokens to purchase an undead chicken that you can keep
- Stamina or energy potion
- Fast travel to several locations
- Draynor Manor (Draynor Manor Teleport, amulet of glory to Draynor Village, or fairy ring code DIS to the nearby Wizard's Tower)
- Port Phasmatys (Ectophial, charter ships or fairy ring code ALQ)

Undead chickens
- 01
Talk to Ava in the west wing of Draynor Manor and complete the dialogue. Dialogue: I would be happy to make your home into a better place.
- 02
Go to the undead chicken farm west of the Ectofuntus with your ghostspeak amulet and ecto-tokens (or materials for them), and talk to Alice. Dialogue: I'm here about a quest.
- 03
Keep talking between Alice and Malcolm in the cow pen 4 times until she tells you to go to talk to the old crone for an amulet.
- 04
Run west of the farm until you reach the old crone's house just east of the Slayer Tower.
- 05
Speak twice to the old crone to receive a crone-made amulet. Dialogue: I'm here about the farmers east of here.
- 06
Speak with Malcolm to give him the Crone-made amulet. Dialogue: Okay, you need it more than I do, I suppose.
- 07
Speak with Malcolm again.
- 08
After the cutscene, speak to Malcolm who will now sell you two undead chickens for 20 ecto-tokens. Dialogue: Could I buy those chickens now? → Could I buy two chickens?
Magnet
- 01
Take your 5 iron bars, hammer, and two undead chickens back to the west wing of Draynor Manor and speak to Ava.
- 02
Speak to the Witch in the north-west corner of Draynor Manor (inside the building).
- 03
Speak to the Witch again to receive a selected iron.
- 04
Take the selected iron to the centre of the Rimmington mine, face north, and use the hammer on it.
- 05
Return to Ava and give her the magnet.
Undead twigs
- 01
Talk to Ava.
- 02
Use your axe on an Undead tree (not Dead tree) in front of the Manor (yellow examine).
- 03
Talk to Turael, the Slayer master in a house in south-eastern Burthorpe. Dialogue: I'm here about a quest.
- 04
Talk to Turael again to receive the Blessed axe, provided you have a Mithril axe and a Holy symbol in your inventory. Dialogue: Hello, I'm here about those trees again. → I'd love one, thanks.
- 05
Return to the mansion and cut the undead tree again.
- 06
Bring the Undead twigs to Ava.
- 07
Talk to Ava again, and she will give you garbled research notes that you need to solve.

To translate turn off all the green orbs except for the 2nd, 5th, and 9th (left to right, see image)

Talk to Ava again.

Combine the solved notes with the polished button and the hard leather.

Give the container to Ava.
