A bar magnet is a quest item used in the Animal Magnetism quest. It is one of the items Ava asks the player to obtain in order to make an arrow making contraption - either Ava's attractor or Ava's accumulator depending on the player's Ranged level.

To make the bar magnet, the player must talk to the witch in Draynor Manor who will instruct the player to visit the mines near Rimmington and hit a selected iron with a hammer while facing north.
