Preparation

Items required
- Needle or costume needle (one needle spawns in Pellem's Fur Store nearby)
- Hammer (obtainable during quest) or Imcando hammer
- 2 jerboa tails (obtainable during quest)
- or a Box trap (can be bought from Imia's Supplies nearby)

- Catspeak amulet for extra dialogue
- Quetzal whistle

Speak to Guildmaster Apatura in the Hunters' Guild. Dialogue: Can I help you with anything?

Go down the stairs in the big tree in the middle of Hunters' Guild.

Speak to Guild Scribe Verity behind the bar.
- 04
Talk to Guild Hunter Wolf (Master) just west of the bar to get a toy mouse.

Wind up the toy mouse and then use it on Guild Hunter Kiko to distract him.

Check Kiko's cat bed.
- 07
Return to Wolf and talk to her again.

Buy a box trap from Imia's Supplies if you do not have one. Pick up the needle spawn in the fur shop for later use.

Go back up the stairs and head south-east from the guild towards the mine to find Guild Hunter Fox laying down. He can be found south-east of the mining symbol (south-west of Fairy Ring AJP)

Talk to Fox.

Take a leaf from the leafy bush. The bush is south-west of him and browner than the other bushes.

Go east to the Locus Oasis and pick from the rough-looking bush for a second leaf. The bush is south of the hunter symbol on the map, on the west coast of the oasis.

While here, catch two Embertailed jerboa using a box trap for their tails.

Use the Jerboa tail on the leaves to create Makeshift poultice.

Return to Fox and talk to him again.
- 16
Head to Atza, who is in one of the buildings just east of the southern gate of Civitas illa Fortis (west of the pub). Talk to her.

Set-up the pile of equipment in the middle of the room. (A hammer is available in the house to the north.)

Talk to Atza to get the trimmed fur.
- 19
Return to Fox. He will give you a report for the guild.
- 20
Return to Guild Scribe Verity, down the stairs in the Hunter Guild, and give her the report.

Use the remaining jerboa tail on the cat bed to fix it.
- 22
Head back upstairs, and talk to Guildmaster Apatura.
