A games necklace is a sapphire necklace which has been enchanted using the Lvl-1 Enchant spell. It has 8 charges which can teleport the player to Burthorpe, Barbarian Outpost, Corporeal Beast, Tears of Guthix, and the Wintertodt Camp. After all 8 charges are used, the necklace will be destroyed.
When teleporting using the necklace, the message You rub the necklace... will be displayed, followed by a message with the number of charges remaining, ex. Your games necklace has three uses left. If using the last charge on the necklace, the message Your games necklace crumbles to dust. will be displayed instead.
When a games necklace has one charge remaining, it is recommended not to use the last charge, but instead to save it and cast High Level Alchemy on it, as the necklace's alchemy value is irrespective of its charge.

Price per teleport
Because the high alchemy value is the same regardless of the number of charges, some of the cost of usage can be reclaimed by alching when one charge remains.

Trivia
- Only the fully charged games necklace can be traded on the Grand Exchange.
- The in-game price checker can still calculate the price of partially charged necklace as a fraction of the GE price of a fully charged necklace.
