Troll Romance
Ug loves Aga, but Aga is together with Arrg. Since Arrg is a lot stronger than Ug, Ug can't follow the regular mating ritual, which involves ripping the opponent into pieces. Will you be able to find out what will impress the troll female more than a display of violence? Will you survive the journey to help a lonely troll find love?

Preparation
Requirements are gates. Recommendations are comfort and risk controls, not mandatory levels unless the game enforces them.
Items required
- An iron bar
- Maple or yew logs
- Rope
- Climbing boots (not needed if using Trollheim Teleport)
- Wax (can be made ahead of time)
- A bucket of wax (use insect repellent on a beehive followed by a bucket)
- A cake tin
- Swamp tar
Recommended
- 50 Combat
- Teleportation runes to Trollheim if completed Eadgar's Ruse, or a Ghommal's hilt 1 for 2 daily Trollheim teleports
- A Games necklace
- A Slayer ring
- A Dramen staff or Lunar staff and partial completion of Fairytale II - Cure a Queen for access to Fairy rings
- Prayer potions and decent food for the fight with Arrg
- A Gem bag to store the reward

Ironman notes
- 45 Woodcutting (boostable) to cut a maple log
- OR Enough combat stats and supplies to get a 1/128 drop of yew logs from Swamp Crabs (requires Priest in Peril Quest).
- OR Enough supply of Serum 208 to get a 1/128 drop of maple logs from curing Afflicted (requires Shades of Mort'ton Quest).
- OR Throne of Miscellania completed to obtain maple logs from managing Miscellania.
- OR 50 Firemaking to get a maple/yew log from Reward Cart via Wintertodt.
- OR Completing Hunters' Rumours with 46 Hunter to receive Hunters' loot sack (drop chance based on Woodcutting level)
- OR High enough combat stats to kill Giant Mole for a 1/12.8 drop of yew logs.
- A method to obtain an iron bar:
- 15 Mining Mining and 15 Smithing Smithing if smelting iron ore
- Spawn in Thurid's Brain Buckets on the Sunset Coast in Varlamore (requires Children of the Sun Quest)
- Spawn in level 18 Wilderness north-west of the Ferox Enclave, next to the bears west of the Graveyard of Shadows. Accessible via Clan Wars Minigame grouping teleport
- 1/42.67 drop from dwarves (10 Combat) in the mines under Falador
- 1/34.42 drop from sorting small salvage with 15 Sailing

Talk to Ug in the south-west corner of the Troll Stronghold's middle level. Offer him your help. Dialogue: Aww, you poor troll. What seems to be the problem? → Don't worry now, I'll see what I can do.

Talk to Aga in the room to the north. Dialogue: So... how's your... um... love life? → Errr... I've got to go.

Talk to Ug again.
Survival Techniques
- 01
Talk to Tenzing in the hut west of the Warriors' Guild in Burthorpe. Dialogue: Do you know where I can find Trollweiss? → What would I need to make such a sled?
- 02
Talk to Dunstan at the anvil in north-eastern Burthorpe. Dialogue: Talk about a quest. → I need a sled!! → Yes.

Talk to him again to get the sled. Dialogue: Talk about a quest.
- 04
Use the swamp tar on the bucket of wax to get Wax.
- 05
Use the Wax on your Sled.
Sledding
- 01
Run north-west from the Trollheim teleport to reach a cave just north-west of the Troll family (Troll child if you haven't done Desert Treasure.)
- 02
Enter the cave to the north-west (Not through the icy gate) then run north-west past the ice trolls.
- 03
Run to the end and exit through the crevasse.
- 04
Equip your sled, go south, and click to slide down the slope.
- 05
After the first Sled ride cutscene, walk west and pick some of the rare flowers. (Warning: don't start the next cutscene before collecting the flowers)
The Things We Do For Love

Return to Ug.
- 02
Talk to Arrg. Dialogue: I am here to kill you! He will teleport you into the arena.

Kill Arrg.
- 04
Congratulations, quest complete!
