Burthorpe Castle is the central feature of the principality of Burthorpe. Various houses and businesses are lined around the castle, and its lower level contains the Burthorpe Games Room.
Overview
The Burthorpe Castle is home to Crown Prince Anlaf, son of the king of Asgarnia. Due to rising political tensions in Asgarnia, Anlaf has been absent from the castle for some time, but the residents of the castle are still loyal to him in his absence.
Construction
The castle was built to withstand attacks from the trolls found north of the principality. While not accessible by players, the castle is stated as being "fortified to better resist siege," with a "massive series of tunnels and hidden chambers" created beneath it, under Anlaf's supervision.
The outer wall, known as a "curtain wall," is still under construction (or possibly in the process of being repaired).
Rooms
The ground floor[UK]1st floor[US] of the castle has a kitchen, an armoury, Anlaf's bedroom, and a sleeping section for the guards. The 1st floor[UK]2nd floor[US] contains a throne room with a large dining table in the middle, as well as four guard towers, accessible from the outside.
Games room

Prince Anlaf is a massive fan of games, and opened his basement games room to the public in the year 169. The games room is not used by many players, and is considered "dead content."
