Lletya

Lletya (Welsh pronunciation: /ˈɬɛt.ə.a/, Jagex pronunciation: LLE-to-ah) is a small village that can be accessed after starting Mourning's End Part I. Eluned brings players to Lletya the first time, and gives a teleport crystal for teleporting back afterwards.

The only way to teleport to Lletya directly is a charged teleport crystal. Players can obtain new crystals as a common drop from the elves in the village. Recharging costs 150 to 750, depending on how many times it's been charged before.

Beyond the teleport crystal, players can reach Lletya on foot after teleporting nearby. Although they all require substantial walking, several methods of teleporting this way exist, listed here from shortest walk to longest:

• Iorwerth camp teleport, then navigating the forest (after completing Regicide).
• Spirit tree to Prifddinas, then navigating the forest (after completing Song of the Elves).
• Charter ship to Port Tyras for 3,200, then navigating the forest (after completing Regicide).
• Fairy ring BJS, then navigating the forest (with 76 Agility and completion of Regicide).
• Necklace of passage to the Outpost, passing Arandar, and navigating the forest.
• West Ardougne Teleport, then traversing the Underground Pass, and finally, navigating the forest.

The following lore is sourced from Mourning's End Part I and Song of the Elves.

The eight elven clans formerly lived together in the great city of Prifddinas. Following the fall of the city at the hands of the Iorwerth clan, however, the other seven clans went in exile in the woodland of Tirannwn. Lletya was then created, becoming the only elf settlement in Gielinor until an adventurer helped restore Prifddinas to its former glory.

Unlike other villages, there are only two "buildings" in Lletya, connected on the upper level but separated on the ground. A number of locations exist within these structures:

Upon entering the village, players will be under the arch of the entrance building, containing:

• Dalldav's archery store, which sells arrows from iron to rune, as well as several tiers of longbows and shortbows.
• Oronwen's seamstress' shop, which sells needles, thread, balls of wool, and dye of every colour. Her shop also features a spinning wheel, and behind her shop are three shear-able sheep.

After passing under the arch, players enter the main area, featuring a well, a fruit tree patch, and entrances to the main building.

The first floor of the main building features a number of useful stores and locations:

• Lletya bank, the only bank in the area prior to completion of Song of the Elves. There is a small patch of flax south of the bank.
• The Lletya general store, which stocks the typical general store wares.
• The main hall, which features heavily in the elf storyline. Players needing a new crystal trinket can find one by searching the chest in this room.

The second floor features a prayer altar, the Lletya shrine, as well as a food store (selling bread, lobster, jug of wine, cheese, cake) with a range.

• Arianwyn, the leader of the Elven Resistance.
• Arvel, an elf who's distrustful of adventurers.
• Dalldav, who runs the archery shop.
• Eoin, an elf child who plays tag with his sister Iona.
• Eudav, owner of the general store.
• Gethin, owner of the food store.
• Goreu, an elf enjoying the beauty of the village.
• Iona, an elf child who plays tag with her brother Eoin.
• Kelyn, an elf instilled with the memories of the former Lady Ithell.
• Liliwen, a farmer who can protect a player's fruit trees.
• Mawrth, a mother whose children run about the village.
• Oronwen, the village's seamstress.
• Tool leprechaun, a green-clad fellow who can store gardening supplies and note produce.
• Ysgawyn, a grumpy elf who seeks vengeance for his lost husband (only before completing Song of the Elves).

• "Lletya" is a Welsh word that translates to the verb "lodge." It was likely intended to use the noun "lodge," in which case, "llety" would be the appropriate translation.
