Burgh de Rott is a desolate town located in the south-western coast of Morytania, known for housing the human resistance to the oppressive vampyres. Players must have started In Aid of the Myreque in order to access the town.
Transportation
Several teleports bring players into or close to Burgh de Rott, listed here with their arrival destination. From closest to farthest:
Morytania legs 3 — entrance to the town. Requires
hard Morytania diary.
Mort'ton teleport — Mort'ton town centre, slightly north of Burgh de Rott.
Barrows Teleport — Barrows, north-east of the town.
Drakan's medallion — Ver Sinhaza, from which players can run to the Icyene Graveyard and take the boat to town.
Minigame teleport — Shades of Mort'ton entrance north of the town. Usable once every 20 minutes.
Fairy ring BIP — the island east of the Mage Training Arena. Requires 50 Agility.
History
The following lore is sourced from In Aid of the Myreque.
Little is known about Burgh de Rott's history, but it can presumably be dated back to some time in the Third Age during the vampyre invasion of Hallowvale due to the dusty scroll that can be found amongst some rubble in the town. Whether it was abandoned or destroyed during Lowerniel Drakan and his vampyres' invasion is unknown.
In recent times the town has become a place for human refugees, who have escaped from the vampyres' tyranny. The town is in ruins and the vampyres assume it is uninhabited and thus never go there. During In Aid of the Myreque, the player helps fix up some of the essential parts of the town, improving the living conditions for the residents. The fact that the town is populated was discovered by Gadderanks, who, accompanied by two Vampyre Juvinates, came to tithe the population. The player, however, managed to defeat Gadderanks and the vampyres, meaning that Burgh de Rott is safe for now.
Locations

Buildings
Most of the buildings in the town are in complete disrepair. Several still function however:
| Building | Description |
|---|---|
| Aurel's Supplies | The general store, which sells players items. To access the general store you must repair it first using 6 planks and 24 nails. After repairing it players must stock it with 10 bronze axes, 3 tinderboxes, and either 10 mackerel or 10 snails. |
| Burgh de Rott bank | Allows players to access the Bank of Gielinor. |
| Myreque's Rest | A run-down pub, featuring a cellar to the town's Myreque Hideout. After the quest The Blood Moon Rises, the pub is revived by Veliaf Hurtz. |
| Ruined Building | North-east of the town, a ruined building filled with rubble can be found. During The Blood Moon Rises, the rubble is cleared, revealing the entry to an old vampyrification lab where the Wyrd is fought. |
Skill training spots
- All the fishing spots in Burgh de Rott necessitate the use of either a big net or harpoon, making this town nearly as convenient as Catherby for training Fishing. There also is a small fishing net spawn location in a ruined house east of the docks.
- This town has the fifth-closest furnace to a bank, behind Port Phasmatys, Shilo Village, Edgeville and Neitiznot.
- There is a Fermenting Vat located in the Myreque's Rest cellar after completing The Blood Moon Rises.
Other
The Temple Trekking minigame is available in Burgh de Rott if you have completed In Aid of the Myreque.
