Neitiznot (Jagex: /ˈneɪ.tɪz.nɒt/ NAY-tizz-not) is a fortified town on one of the Fremennik Isles that can be accessed by talking to Maria Gunnars on the most north-eastern pier in Rellekka. This requires the completion of The Fremennik Trials as well as starting The Fremennik Isles. Neitiznot was founded by King Neitiznot; his counterpart, King Jatizso, founded the opposing village, Jatizso.

There is currently only one teleport that can get you to Neitiznot without the need of the boat, which is the Enchanted lyre after completion of the Elite Fremennik Diary.

Over a hundred years ago, two Fremennik brothers, Neitiznot and Jatizso, were banished by their father, a Fremennik king, for constantly feuding with each other. Their father told them not to return until they had conquered lands of their own, and so they both set sail with the followers. Neitiznot sailed to the west, and discovered a green and fertile island which he named after himself.

Some time later, he was confronted by his brother Jatizso, who had sailed to the east and settled on a nearby island rich in minerals. After setting up a citadel on his island, Jatizso and his forces went to explore the rest of the isles, only to discover that his brother had already claimed one of the islands. Neitiznot refused to give up his land to Jatizso, and the feud continued. To this day, the citizens of Neitiznot still have a fierce rivalry with the citizens of Jatizso.

The conflict between the two islands has allowed ice trolls led by the ice troll king to establish themselves in the islands to the north. During one of the conflicts, while the Neitiznot militia was assaulting Jatizso, the army of ice trolls attacked the undefended Neitiznot, razing it to the ground. Most of the settlement has since been rebuilt, but some of the damages can still be seen.

Transportation

The following methods can be used to reach Neitiznot:

  • With the completion of the Fremennik elite diary, an enchanted lyre can be set to teleport to Neitiznot directly, by talking to Olaf the Bard. Without the Elite Diary completed.
  • Players who have completed parts of the Fremennik Diary may use Fremennik sea boots to teleport to Rellekka, in the middle of the market, then take the boat to Jatizso by talking to Maria Gunnars on the northernmost dock. Easy, medium and hard diaries grant one, three, and five daily teleports respectively, while the elite tier grants unlimited teleports.
  • Players can use a Scroll of redirection, Construction cape, or move their player-owned house to Rellekka, teleport to their house, and then go to Neitiznot. The teleport to Thorodin with the Achievement diary cape is roughly the same distance away.
  • Travel to Waterbirth Island via teleport, Waterbirth Island Portal in the POH or via the enchanted lyre (requires completion of the Fremennik hard diary), take the boat back to Rellekka, and then take the boat to Neitiznot.
  • Travel to Lunar Island via teleport or via Lunar Isle Portal in the POH (which does not require being in the Lunar spellbook) and speak to any NPC while not having a Seal of Passage in the inventory to be teleported to Rellekka, and then take the boat to Neitiznot.
  • Fairy ring to Kandarin: Polar Hunter area (near Keldagrim entrance) (DKS), run west and take the agility shortcut over the east Rellekka fence (requires 57 Agility), and then take the boat to Neitiznot.
  • Teleport to Miscellania via ring of wealth or fairy ring (CIP), take the boat back to Rellekka, and then take the boat to Neitiznot.
  • Teleport to Camelot, go north towards Sinclair Mansion, follow the western fork in the road to reach Rellekka, and take the boat to Neitiznot.

Features

During and after the quest the village offers the following advantages:

  • Some good mining facilities close to a bank
  • Yaks are good for Crafting experience (25 experience for yak hair and 32 experience for yak-hides)
  • Left click bank open
  • A water source very close to the bank
  • A spinning wheel relatively close to the bank
  • A furnace close to the bank
  • A range close to the bank
  • Yak-hides can be cured close to the bank
  • Trolls have fairly decent drops, so a potential high level player combat training area. Rune kiteshields and rune warhammers are pretty common drops from the ice trolls.
  • Yaks close to the bank. Yaks are great for combat training and the 100% drops (hide and hair) represent a potential of 57 Crafting experience. With a short bank trip, it makes sense to bank all drops for later Crafting.
