Water can be found in many locations, in the forms of sinks, water pumps, and wells. A water source is indicated on the map by the 
symbol. It is used in a number of skills, including Cooking, Crafting, Construction, Herblore, and Farming.
Water may also be obtained from objects not marked with a water drop symbol, like the water barrel.
Water is also essential to surviving desert heat in the Kharidian Desert, though only water drunk from a waterskin will prevent its damage.
Bodies of water are generally decorative and cannot be used to fill water vessels, aside from specific interactable features marked on the map with a water icon, like the stagnant lake used to create a special bucket of water during the Rum Deal quest.
Getting water
A good place to fill all kind of water containers is the Hosidius Kitchen, as a sink is adjacent to the bank chest.
For non-members, the closest water source to a bank is the well north-west of Edgeville bank.
Players who have unlocked the Lunar spellbook can cast Humidify to fill empty vessels and water saplings.
Water can be put into buckets, vials, watering cans, waterskins, bowls, empty cups and jugs. However, some water sources do require particular types of containers.
Water from buckets, vials, bowls, and jugs can be freely passed between each other by using one which is full of water upon one which is empty.
