A bank chest is interactive scenery that allows quick access to a player's bank account, usually found in remote locations or places where a normal bank would not fit. Like any other banking facility it is indicated with a bank icon (
).
Players can access their bank and their Grand Exchange collection boxes at bank chests, but must visit a Banker to change their PIN settings or Grand Exchange offer notification settings.

Platinum Tokens - stackable, tradeable items worth 1,000 coins each - were added. Players can use any bank booth, bank chest, or banker to convert one to the other. |
Trivia
- The bank chest in the Barbarian Outpost and Port Khazard were previously bank deposit boxes and have since been changed into bank chests.
- A non-interactive bank chest can be found at the Void Knights' Outpost.
- These chests used to be very popular for training skills at a bank, because they can be opened with a left-click. This advantage was applied to bank booths on 21 March 2013, making banks and chests equally advantageous.
- Unlike most other bank chests, the chest at Wintertodt and the chest in the Hunter Guild have a "Bank" option instead of a "Use" option.
