Jatizso (Jagex: /jəˈtɪzsoʊ/ yah-TIZZ-so) is one of the islands which make up the Fremennik Isles. It can be accessed by talking to Mord Gunnars (requires completion of The Fremennik Trials) on the north-easternmost pier in Rellekka. It is ruled over by King Gjuki Sorvott IV, aided by his chancellor, Thorkel Silkbeard. Jatizso is a dull, grey island, whose population is heavily overtaxed and seem generally unhappy.
Jatizso's economy seems to revolve around mining, smithing, fishing and cooking, as its local resources are mainly ores and fish. The island has a number of resources useful to players:
- Closest lobster/shark fishing spot to a bank in the game.
- Anvils close to a bank.
- Many adamantite, mithril, tin, and coal rocks in the mines below the town.
There is currently only one teleport that can get you to Jatizso without the need of the boat from Rellekka: the enchanted lyre with completion of the Elite Fremennik Diary.

Over a hundred years ago, two Fremennik brothers, Neitiznot and Jatizso, were banished by their father, a Fremennik king, for constantly feuding with each other. Their father told them not to return until they had conquered lands of their own, and so they both set sail with the followers. Jatizso sailed to the east through uncharted waters, fighting off sea monsters and pirates, until they discovered an island rich in minerals, which Jatizso named after himself.
After setting up a citadel on his island, Jatizso and his forces went to explore the rest of the isles, only to discover that his brother had already claimed one of the islands. Neitiznot refused to give up his land to Jatizso, and the feud continued. To this day, the citizens of Jatizso still have a fierce rivalry with the citizens of Neitiznot.
The conflict between the two islands has allowed ice trolls led by the ice troll king to establish themselves in the islands to the north.
Transportation
The following methods can be used to reach Jatizso:
- With the completion of the Fremennik elite diary, an enchanted lyre can be set to teleport to Jatizso directly, by talking to Olaf the Bard. Without the Elite Diary completed.
- Players who have completed parts of the Fremennik Diary may use Fremennik sea boots to teleport to Rellekka, in the middle of the market, then take the boat to Jatizso by talking to Mord Gunnars on the northernmost dock. Easy, medium and hard diaries grant one, three, and five daily teleports respectively, while the elite tier grants unlimited teleports.
- Use the enchanted lyre to teleport to Rellekka, and then take the boat to Jatizso.
- Players can use a Scroll of redirection, Construction cape, or move their player-owned house to Rellekka, teleport to their house, and then go to Jatizso. The teleport to Thorodin with the Achievement diary cape is roughly the same distance away.
- Travel to Waterbirth Island via teleport, Waterbirth Island Portal in the POH or via the enchanted lyre (requires completion of the Fremennik hard diary), take the boat back to Rellekka, and then take the boat to Jatizso.
- Travel to Lunar Island via teleport or via Lunar Isle Portal in the POH (which does not require being in the Lunar spellbook) and speak to any NPC while not having a Seal of Passage in the inventory to be teleported to Rellekka, and then take the boat to Jatizso.
- Fairy ring to Kandarin: Polar Hunter area (near Keldagrim entrance) (DKS), run west and take the agility shortcut over the east Rellekka fence (requires 57 Agility), and then take the boat to Jatizso.
- Without 57 Agility, the next closest fairy ring is in Miscellania.
- Teleport to Miscellania via ring of wealth or fairy ring (CIP), take the boat back to Rellekka, and then take the boat to Jatizso.
- Teleport to Camelot, go north towards Sinclair Mansion, follow the western fork in the road to reach Rellekka, and take the boat to Jatizso.
Stores
- The armour and ore stores can be found in the most south-western building of the island.
- The weapons store can be found north of the armour and ore stores.
- The fish store can be found in the building north of the bank.
- The yak store can only be accessed by paying the shop owner's taxes for her. It is located in the food hall.
