The gadderhammer is a two-handed members-only maul. There are no combat requirements for wielding the gadderhammer. To obtain the gadderhammer the player must defeat Gadderanks during In Aid of the Myreque. Even though it can be purchased from another player or the Grand Exchange, it cannot be wielded until Gadderanks is defeated.
This weapon cannot be made using the Smithing skill. It has a very similar appearance and combat animation to the granite maul, and stats similar to an Adamant warhammer.
If lost, the gadderhammer can be bought from Burgh de Rott's general store owner, Aurel, for 3,000 coins.
The gadderhammer does extra damage against shades (similar to the keris versus kalphites), possessing a 25% damage bonus against shades as well as a 5% chance to deal double damage.[1] The bonus damage when employed against shades stacks with the benefits provided by a salve amulet (e) and Void Knight equipment.[2]
Despite its name, the gadderhammer does not act as a replacement for a hammer, unlike the Imcando hammer.
