The salve amulet (e) is the enchanted form of the salve amulet, granting a 20% increase (from 16.67%) in the wearer's Attack and Strength when fighting undead monsters.
The salve amulet is enchanted by using Tarn's diary on it, acquired as part of the Lair of Tarn Razorlor miniquest. An easy way to obtain the diary is by teleporting directly to Tarn's Lair using a Slayer ring. After the miniquest, players can quickly reclaim the diary from a bookcase in a player-owned house under the name The Diary of Tarn Razorlor.

Effects and upgrades

The salve amulet's bonuses against the undead do not stack with the black mask and slayer helmet's 16.67% attack and strength bonuses; wearing both will only apply the bonuses of the salve amulet (e). However, the bonuses of Void Knight equipment do stack. Additionally, the amulet's effects apply to all targets when using multi-hitting melee weapons in a multicombat area, such as the Scythe of Vitur and the special attack of the dragon 2h sword.
The salve amulet (e) can also be imbued, extending the undead bonus to ranged and magic attacks. This requires using either 800,000 Nightmare Zone points (halved upon completing the hard combat achievements), 320 Soul Wars Zeal Tokens, or by using a scroll of imbuing on the amulet.
Amulets imbued through the latter two methods do not count for completing the Ardougne Diary task.[1] Furthermore, amulets imbued at one location cannot be refunded at a different location.
