Men are generic civilians of Gielinor. They can be found in most large cities and towns, especially those in Misthalin, such as Lumbridge, Falador, and Varrock. While less common, they can also be found in remote areas such as the Wilderness.

Men can be pickpocketed by members at level 1 Thieving, yielding 8 experience points and 3 coins. They often drop low-level herbs when killed on members-only servers. Talking to men gives a 1/128 chance of being offered a flyer.[1]

Trivia

  • One of the black clothed men next to the Silk Stall in Al Kharid does not have a "Talk-to" option. This may be used to train Thieving by hiding NPCs attack options.
  • Oddly enough, guards do not react to players killing these civilians.
  • Most men had a festive override wearing a santa hat during the 2023, 2024, and 2025 Christmas events.
