Warped Tortoises are creatures found in the Poison Waste Dungeon beneath the Galarpos Mountains, requiring partial completion of The Path of Glouphrie and level 56 Slayer to kill. Players must have the crystal chime in their inventory to fight them, otherwise they will be invulnerable.

Warped Tortoises only attack with melee, meaning players should equip armour with melee defence. Alternatively, players can nullify all damage by praying Protect from Melee.

They can be safespotted in the Poison Waste Dungeon by traversing to one of the rooms further in the dungeon, where there are two tortoises surrounded by four pillars in the centre of the room, as well as pillars along the walls. By standing on the east or west of these four pillars in the centre, the player can attack the tortoises using ranged or mage without being attacked. Using a halberd also will work in the safespot. There is another safespot in the second room with the one Warped Tortoise, if hit from the angle shown in the image below.

Do not forget to bring a crystal chime, or you will not be able to harm them.

  Single Warped Tortoise safespot, if you stand on the tile marked "safespot" and hit the turtles whilst in the tile labeled "Spawn" or to the north of it. If the Warped Tortoise is south of the 4 boxes marked "spawn", it will not be trapped by the fence.
