The Ascent of Arceuus
A long time ago, the citizens of Arceuus house gave up their human bodies and claimed immortality. This event was known as the Ascent of Arceuus and it marked the end of death within Arceuus house. Or so they believed. For the first time in a thousand years, a member of Arceuus house has fallen. You will need to solve the mystery of this death. However, time is of the essence and the fate of Arceuus house lies in your hands.

- Skills necklace for teleportation to the Farming Guild, just south-west of Mount Karuulm, or via fairy ring CIR

- A pickaxe to complete an easy Kourend & Kebos Diary step

Speak to Mori in the centre of Arceuus. Dialogue: What can I do to help? → We should let someone know about this. → Yes.

Head south-west to Kourend Castle and speak to Councillor Andrews on east side of the first floor. Dialogue: There's been a death in Arceuus.

Return and speak to Mori. Dialogue: What should we do now?

Walk north-west to the Tower of Magic west of the Arceuus Library and speak to the Tower Mage outside the doors.

Enter the tower and defeat the 5 Tormented Souls.

After the fight, head upstairs.

Speak to Asteros Arceuus.

Head to Mount Karuulm. (Fairy ring code CIR)

[OPTIONAL] If you are planning to do the Kourend & Kebos Diary, bring a pickaxe and mine an Iron ore from the Mount Karuulm Mine to complete an Easy task.

Go to the centre of Mount Karuulm and activate the elevator.

Speak to Kaal-Xil-Dar.

Exit to the south and head to the grave located south-east of the mountain, just west of the Battlefront. It is south of the water source. (By the Battlefront teleport tablet or Arceuus spell location.)

Inspect the Ancient Grave then follow the tracks, searching bushes and plants nearby to where the tracks end.

Eventually you'll reach the hiding spot of the Trapped Soul. Defeat it.

Return to Mount Karuulm and speak to Kaal-Xil-Dar once more.

Head to the Dark Altar north of Arceuus (fairy ring code CIS, or use a games necklace teleport to Wintertodt then run south) and inspect the rocks that surround the altar until you find a device; it will automatically be destroyed upon being found.

Return to the Tower of Magic and head upstairs, talk to Lord Trobin Arceuus.
