Tai Bwo Wannai Village

Tai Bwo Wannai, meaning 'small clearing in the jungle',^[1] is a village located south of Brimhaven in the jungle of Karamja. It is home to a number of villagers. Unfortunately for its residents, the surrounding jungle grows back rapidly after being cut down, often housing deadly broodoo victims with high health, strong damage, and stat-reducing spells.

Several methods exist for reaching the village:

• Tai bwo wannai teleport — centre of the village
• Fairy ring CKR — south of the village.
• Achievement diary cape — south of the village.
• Lady of the Waves — Cairn Island. Leaves from Port Khazard for a fee of 20-50 coins.
• Karamja gloves 3 or better — Shilo Village. With 79 Agility, players can scale the rocks near the north-eastern corner of the village wall.
• Abyss — nature altar, south-east of the village. Players will be skulled if they are not wearing an abyssal bracelet when entering the Abyss.
• Brimhaven teleport — well north of the village.
• Gnome glider — well east of the village.
• Ogre boat — east of the village. Players can only use it if coming from the Feldip Hills, and if they provide two raw or cooked chompies. Due to its strange placement and requirements, it is rarely used.

Finally, players can dock at Cairn Isle at level 42 Sailing and run north.

The village has a long history, and the local people descend from tribes who lived in the area since at least the Fourth Age. In more recent years, the residents were afraid of staying in the village, until an adventurer helped the village gather the materials needed for the residents to commune with their gods and ensure they hadn't angered them. The adventurer relayed this information to the sons of the chief, which led them to return to the village. Later, the adventurer helped protect the village by resolving the threat of Rashiliyia.

There are also several shops:

• The Tai Bwo Wannai Cooperative, which trades trading sticks for clothing and other items.
• The Tai Bwo Wannai Drink Store, which purchases gnome cocktails.

• The Tai Bwo Wannai Parcel Service, where Rionasta runs items to your bank for a fee of 10 trading sticks per item.

• The hardwood grove to the east of the town gives access to teak and mahogany trees, at a cost of 100 trading sticks.
• A calquat tree patch can be found just east of the anvil, used for planting calquat trees.
• An anvil in the northern-most building.
• The Karamja Jungle mine can be found immediately south-east of the village.

• The minigame Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup can be found in the village, offering rewards such as the gout tuber.
• To the west of the village is a secret entrance to the bronze dragon area of the Brimhaven Dungeon, accessible after paying Banisoch a one-off fee of 5,000 trading sticks.
• A tribal statue in the centre of the area can recharge prayer points after completion of Tai Bwo Wannai Trio.

• Aisles, who will exchange items for banknotes.
• Fanellaman, a retired fisherman.
• Gabooty, the village's wandering merchant.
• Jagbakoba, the village warrior.
• Karaday, a fisherman and the son of Safta Doc.
• Layleen, the daughter of Mamma Bufetta.
• Mamma Bufetta, a chef who teaches players how to make spider on a stick.
• Murcaily, keeper of the Hardwood Grove.
• Rionasta, who runs the village's postal service.
• Safta Doc, a retired fisherman who sells machetes.
• Sharimika, the husband of Mamma Bufetta.
• Tamayu, the eldest son of the chief and a hunter and spear-seller.
• Tiadeche, a Karambwan fisherman
• Timfraku, the leader of the village.
• Tinsay, a priest who temporarily lost his mind.
• Trufitus, the village shaman.

Some of the following monsters only spawn during Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup; however, after spawning, they will aggress anyone nearby until they despawn.
