Unicorns can be commonly found wandering around forested areas. On members servers, unicorns drop the unicorn horn, which are used in Herblore to make antipoisons.
They respawn slowly, at a rate of ~53 seconds. Due to the relative length of respawn compared to how quickly they can be killed, it is advisable to farm them in the Kourend Woodland while world hopping in between kills, or to kill unicows instead. They will retreat from combat at low health.

Trivia
- Unicorns were the first monster added to RuneScape Classic, and can be seen in very early pre-release screenshots.
- The taxidermist has a unicorn head mounted in her shop. The examine reads, "Alas poor unicorn, I knew him", a reference to the Shakespeare play Hamlet.
- The examine mentions a horse, an animal that does not exist within Old School RuneScape and is unknown to players, except for the toy horseys.
