Raw cod is a fish that can be caught with a big fishing net at any fishing spot. It requires a Fishing level of 23 to catch and grants 45 fishing experience per catch. It can be cooked into cod with level 18 Cooking. The most common spot to fish cod is Catherby.
Raw cod is used for the Freeing Pirate Pete section of the Recipe for Disaster quest. It is also used for the Cold War quest, but it can be substituted with the use of the Ring of Charos(a).

Catherby and Land's End are both convenient and popular locations with fishing spots close to a bank, but due to the invisible +7 boost within the Fishing Guild, the numerous spots and proximity to a bank, it is the best option, assuming players have at least 68 Fishing to enter.
