Teleport to Boat

Teleport to Boat is a spell from the standard spellbook that teleports the caster to the mooring point where their player-owned boat is currently located. This spell can only be cast after completion of Pandemonium.

It requires the caster's boat to have a greater teleportation focus on it, requiring level 75 Sailing and 69 Construction to be built.

The spell is one of the two boat spells.

When cast, the player receives a menu to select which boat to teleport to. Any boats without a greater teleport focus will be greyed out. The last-used boat can be selected by pressing spacebar, all subsequent boats via the number keys.

If a player casts this spell while riding on the boat with the greater teleport focus, they will teleport to the last mooring point the boat had docked at, and the boat will be lost.

The Sailing cape offers functionality identical to this spell as one of its perks, but without costing any runes.

As some islands have useful amenities or other spots of interest and they have no other means of quick travel, Teleport to Boat can be useful to save time getting there. These include:

• Treasure Trails spots
  • For master clues, Brittle Isle (~80 seconds faster than the alternative) and Drumstick Isle (~40 seconds)
  • For elite clues, Wintumber Island (~60 seconds) and Lledrith Island (~30 seconds)
  • For hard clues, Tear of the Soul (~50 seconds)
• Charred Island for Slayer training in the dungeon and access to rubium rocks and rubium deposits
• Chinchompa Island for Hunter training, in particular completing Hunter rumours for red chinchompas more quickly
• Sunbleak Island for Woodcutting training with ironwood trees
• Ynysdail for getting to The Gwenith Glide
• Lunar Isle for Crafting Astral Runes: Teleport to boat results in a round-trip time of 34 seconds (105 trips per hour) versus the traditional method of Moonclan Teleport average time of 49 seconds (73 trips per hour); which is approximately 45% faster. Additionally, the Lunar altar is immediately visible from the boat, allowing the craft action to be performed with a single click.
• Wyrmscraig Cavern for access to Mortimer, the slayer master
• The Summer Shore for faster access to Coral Nurseries via the Rowboat (~25 seconds faster than fairy ring, ~2-5 seconds faster than using a Charter ship)
