Charred Island

Charred Island is located south of the Void Knights' Outpost and Pest Control Island, in the Unquiet Ocean. Docking here requires level 60 Sailing, unboosted.

A dark hole in the north-west of the island leads to the Charred Dungeon, in which lava strykewyrms and rubium rocks can be found. A rope is required to be used on the hole to access the dungeon the first time, and one can be found on the southern part of the island near the bank chest space. The dungeon contains the old chest, which can be unlocked using the charred key to obtain Zamorakian paint.

The island can only be reached using Sailing. Mooring at the island requires level 60 Sailing.

The fastest way to get to the island without using Teleport to Boat is to sail south-west from the Red Rock (requires partial completion of The Red Reef quest to access). At Red Rock, player can either pay the Shipwright to recover their boat, or cast summon boat spell. Without access to Red Rock, Void Knights' Outpost is the closest port to sail from.

• Closest anvil to a bank if you have not completed Song of the Elves at just 9 tiles, beating out the previous 10 tiles from Varrock west bank
• 10 pieces of seaweed spawn along the eastern and southern coastline, respawning every 60 seconds
• Rope spawn on top of crate west of bank chest

A small key can also be found by digging in the northern part of the island, three tiles west of the westernmost dead tree. This is used to unlock a chest on Brittle Isle to find the rosewood & cotton sails schematic.
