Redberries

Redberries can be harvested from a bush patch after planting redberry seeds or picked from wild redberry bushes. They are used in Cooking to make redberry pies, or to create red dye.

Adding redberries to a compost bin makes regular compost, and using them on the Rocky pet will change his appearance to Red, a red panda.

Redberries are unpalatably tart in their uncooked form, and cannot be eaten. They are native to Misthalin but have been cultivated across Gielinor.^[1]

• Sold at certain food shops (see below).
• Can be picked from the two redberry bushes near the south-east Varrock mine. Two berries may be picked from each bush. They take 2 minutes to regrow.
• 2 bushes at Land's End next to the flax spawns.
• Redberries can be stolen from the fruit stall near Xeric's Glade.

A total of 27 redberries are needed for completing every quest:

• Prince Ali Rescue: 1 × redberries to make paste.
• Enlightened Journey: 3 x redberries to make red dye.
• The Knight's Sword: 1 × redberries to make uncooked berry pie.
• Goblin Diplomacy: 3 × redberries to make red dye.
• Ghosts Ahoy: 3-9 × redberries to make red dye.
• The Giant Dwarf: 1 × redberries to make uncooked berry pie.
• Mourning's End Part II: 1 × redberries.
• The Hand in the Sand: 1 × redberries to make redberry juice, mixed with white berries to make pink dye.
• Land of the Goblins: 6 x redberries to make red dye.
• Prying Times: 1 x redberries to make uncooked berry pie.
