Giant lobsters are encountered during The Slug Menace quest in Witchaven Dungeon. They are aggressive to all players, even to those more than twice their combat level. They can be slain towards a scorpion Slayer task. After the quest is complete, they can no longer be found in the dungeon.

The lobsters are possessed by sea slugs, which has caused them to turn green.^[1]

Giant lobsters which cannot be fought are also seen on the Fishing Platform.
