Blamish snail slime is a quest item in Heroes' Quest. When added to a vial of water with Harralander it makes blamish oil, which can be used on a fishing rod to make an oily fishing rod. The oily fishing rod can then be used to catch lava eels in the Taverley Dungeon or the Lava Maze, or infernal eels in Mor Ul Rek.
Blamish snail slime can be made by going to Mort Myre Swamp, killing a Myre blamish snail, and grinding the raw snail (thin, lean, and fat all work equally) with a pestle and mortar with an empty sample bottle in the player's inventory. Sample bottles can be obtained from the general store in Canifis or from Rasolo the Wandering Merchant.
Gerrant provides players with blamish snail slime for free during Heroes' Quest.
