Black Knights' Fortress (location)

The Black Knights' Fortress is a castle of the Zamorakian military order of the Kinshra, commonly referred to as the black knights. It plays a central role in the eponymous Black Knights' Fortress quest, and is also visited during the King's Ransom and While Guthix Sleeps quests.

Players attempting to enter the fortress normally will be stopped from doing so by one of the fortress guards. In order to infiltrate the fortress, the player must be wearing one of the following combinations of armour:

• A bronze med helm and an iron chainbody
• A black full helm, black platebody, and black platelegs/black plateskirt
  • Black trimmed armour and Black gold-trimmed armour work, as well.
• A set of elite black armour
• The Dark Squall robes

The interior and surrounding areas contain level 20 fortress guards and level 33 black knights. Unlike the guards, the knights are aggressive and will automatically attack lower-levelled players. The black knights in the meeting room with the large table will always be aggressive to players entering the room and disturbing their meeting.

The Black Knights' Fortress can be reached a number of ways:

• Using the Arceuus spellbook spell Mind Altar Teleport and heading east.
• Using the Ancient Magicks spell Lassar Teleport and heading north.
• Using the standard spellbook spell Falador Teleport and heading north.
• Using the Construction skillcape or Taverley teleport tablet to teleport to Taverley and heading east.
• Using the combat bracelet teleport to the Edgeville Monastery and heading around Ice Mountain.
• Using the games necklace to the Burthorpe Games Room and heading south-east.

• Black trimmed armour and Black gold-trimmed armour can be mix and matched with regular Black armour.
• Black heraldic armour doesn't work.
