Preparation
Requirements are gates. Recommendations are comfort and risk controls, not mandatory levels unless the game enforces them.
Items required
- Hammer (can be bought from the general store just north of the Blue Moon Inn for 1 coin)
- Beer (obtainable during the quest for 2 coins)
- Stake (obtained during the quest)
Recommended
- 20 Combat
- Garlic, highly recommended to weaken the Count (obtainable during the quest)
- Combat equipment - Magic is recommended if using the safespot
- Fast travel to Varrock (such as the Varrock teleport)
- (Members only) Fast travel to Draynor Village (amulet of glory or Draynor Manor Teleport)

Talk to Dr Harlow in the Blue Moon Inn in Varrock, south of Varrock Centre. Dialogue: I need your help dealing with a vampyre.

Talk to Dr Harlow again and receive a stake.

Buy a hammer from the general store just north of the bar if you haven't already.
Count Draynor
- 01
Bring your combat gear (food recommended), garlic, hammer, and stake to Draynor Manor.
- 02
Go to the basement (east stairs, not through the west room).
- 03
Open the coffin and kill Count Draynor. (You do not need to use the hammer/stake on him. Just kill him with them in your inventory).

Congratulations, quest complete!
