The wizard's mind bomb is a type of ale that restores 1 Hitpoint and temporarily boosts Magic by +2 (+3 if level 50+ Magic) while draining Attack, Strength and Defence by ⌊Level×0.05⌋+1 (see table below). It can be obtained through brewing at level 34 Cooking, granting 314 experience per batch. It is brewed using 2 buckets of water, 2 barley malt, 4 yanillian hops, and a pot of ale yeast. It can also be bought from several shops.
The stronger, mature version of the ale is the mature wmb.
It is required for the quest Dragon Slayer I, and may also be used in Below Ice Mountain in place of a regular beer.
