Vampyre Juveniles are the lowest rank of vampyres[1] and former humans. They can be found in the woods east of Burgh de Rott, in Meiyerditch, in the lower areas of Darkmeyer and inside the Crombwick Manor.
They can be harmed by any weapon, but become mist and retreat at 25% or lower health unless they are held with the special attack of the rod of Ivandis, Ivandis flail, Blisterwood flail, or Hallowed flail. They can then be given a dose of Guthix balance, at which point they may die instantly (16% chance, rewards 100 Prayer experience and drops vampyre dust), become a stronger feral vampyre (16% chance), or return to their human form (68% chance)[2] and give the player a reward.
If a juvenile turns to mist, they will say "Ha, ha, ha, time to disappear and rejuvenate!" before disappearing. Juveniles cannot be killed by any means other than with a Guthix balance; even if they are reduced to 0 hitpoints, they will still turn to mist instead of dying.
Vampyre juveniles in the Burgh de Rott and Slepe areas will turn into Benjamin, Liam, Miala, or Verak if cured, while juveniles in Meiyerditch will turn into Former Vampyres instead. Juveniles in Darkmeyer cannot be cured or turn into feral vampyres, but rather always die instantly.
Prayer info
- ^ Only upon killing the Juvenile with the use of a Guthix balance
