Silvarea

Silvarea is a small area in the north-eastern corner of Misthalin. Primarily consisting of a path between two mountain ranges, it ends at the Paterdomus Temple, behind which is the River Salve.

Several teleports bring players close to Silvarea, listed here with their arrival destination. From closest to farthest:

• Digsite pendant — Digsite, south-west of the area.
• Lumberyard teleport and ring of the elements — Lumberyard, west of Silvarea.
• Salve Graveyard Teleport, Fairy ring CKS, and Slayer ring — Morytania, near the east end of Silvarea. With level 65 Agility, the ornate railing shortcut by the Paterdomus Temple allows quick passage between Morytania and Silvarea.

After the fall of Zaros, there was little activity in the land now known as Silvarea. However, when Lord Drakan attempted to conquer Misthalin from the sparse human settlements in the area, Silvarea became the site of multiple battles. After many years of conflict, the Seven Priestly Warriors were able to push the hordes of Morytania away from Misthalin, at the site of what is now the temple of Paterdomus. The warriors then performed a ritual over the River Salve, preventing vampyres from being able to cross over it, and ending the Misthalin - Morytania War.

The warriors rest in under the Paterdomus temple today, which was built in their honour. The temple is currently managed by Drezel, although has been subject to attack by Zamorakian forces.

The most notable feature of Silvarea is the Paterdomus Temple, a massive temple on the banks of the River Salve. The Limestone Mine is tucked away in the mountain pass of Silvarea, as well as the Odd Old Man's house. The entrance to Zemouregal's Base can also be found in the western cliffside.

Besides the major features, the pathway through Silvarera is lined with a number of regular trees, and its many bats make it a popular location for Slayer tasks. There are no item spawns in this area.

• Zemouregal, a Zamorakian Mahjarrat who aims to take over Varrock by controlling the hero Arrav.
