A fire orb is a glass orb that has been charged at the Obelisk of Fire by using the Charge Fire Orb spell, requiring 63 Magic, on the obelisk. The spell requires an unpowered orb, 30 fire runes, and 3 cosmic runes, yielding 73 Magic experience. The Fire Obelisk is located at the end of Taverley Dungeon, west of the black dragons.
A fire orb can be used on a battlestaff, requiring 62 Crafting, yielding a fire battlestaff and 125 Crafting experience.
They are also obtainable by pickpocketing gnomes, heroes, and elves or from killing Cerberus, killerwatts, lava dragons, tormented demons or level 61 zombies in Tarn's Lair.
