The fire of dehumidification is an old fire pit that has been rebuilt and now has a yellow flame within that prevents the player from experiencing the effects of swamp decay, as well as the rotting of food by ghasts. It requires 50 Construction, 66 Firemaking, completion of Nature Spirit, and Making Friends with My Arm to build and when built, it gives 500 Construction and 300 Firemaking experience. The player must have a hammer, a saw, and a tinderbox in their inventory to build it.

Note: Ghasts you encounter in the Temple Trekking minigame will still rot your food.
