Bullseye lantern (unf) are unfinished bullseye lanterns. To make the steel frame, a Smithing level of 49 and a steel bar are required. Glass lenses for the frames can be made with level 49 Crafting by blowing glass; however, a cut sapphire can be used in place of the lens. Lamp oil, obtained by distilling swamp tar at the Chemist's House in Rimmington or at Miltog's Lamps in Dorgesh-Kaan, is used to fuel bullseye lanterns. Bullseye lanterns can be lit using a tinderbox at level 49 Firemaking - doing so at the Chemist's House is a requirement for the Falador Medium Diary.
The frame combined with a sapphire lens makes a sapphire lantern, which is required in the Tears of Guthix and While Guthix Sleeps quests. In Lunar Diplomacy, an emerald lens is used with the frame to make an emerald lantern.
