Blisterwood logs are logs which can be cut from the blisterwood tree inside the Darkmeyer Arboretum, requiring 62 Woodcutting to chop and granting 76 experience per log. To access the Arboretum, players must progress through the Sins of the Father quest until Desmodus Lasiurus's slaves have been returned.
Blisterwood logs are used in the Sins of the Father quest for the creation of the blisterwood flail, and in The Blood Moon Rises quest for the creation of the hallowed flail and blisterwood stakes. At level 62 Firemaking, blisterwood logs can be burned on the ground for 96 experience per log, or in an abyssal lantern (requiring 6 logs), to increase blood rune yield by 20% when runecrafting.
Occasionally when chopping the blisterwood tree, a message in the chatbox will state A small spider jumps at you from the log you just cut. This interrupts the woodcutting process and causes players to go idle. Players who have not progressed too far in The Blood Moon Rises may find it more convenient to take logs from a crate in Sugadinti's Hideout, which contains an unlimited amount of logs and can fill an inventory instantly.
