The Al Kharid mine (also called Scorpion mine or Al Kharid Mining pit) is a Mining area located just north of the desert city of Al Kharid.
The mine is advantageous because it is near a bank and a furnace and is located in a very low-risk location for its high-value infrequent rocks, such as gold, mithril, and adamantite. In addition, this mine is one of many where three iron rocks can be mined without moving, thus ideal for power-mining.

There are also two rocks that hold nothing.
Monsters
There are nine level 14 scorpions in the Al Kharid mine. They are aggressive to players with a combat level of 28 or below, so low-levelled players should be careful.
Spawns
Two item spawns are located in the mine. The first one is four water runes and the second one is three fire runes, both with a 60 second respawn timer.
NPCs
There is only one NPC located in the Al Kharid mine. He is called "Man" and cannot be attacked. During the Family Crest quest, his name is revealed to be Avan.
Agility shortcut
Members with 38 Agility can access (or exit) the Al Kharid mine via an Agility shortcut located on the northern part of the mine.
