RECURRINGLOW ATTENTION

Herb runs

Farm every herb patch you can reach quickly, then let the crops grow while you do something else. Profit comes from patch count, survival rate, and seed-to-herb margin.

REQUIREMENT

32+ Farming; more patches and teleports strongly recommended

Requirements

Hard requirements and unlocks that materially change the method.

INVENTORY

Set up the method

  • Seed dibber, spade, rake, magic secateurs, noted ultracompost, and one seed per patch
  • Optional bottomless compost bucket to simplify inventory management
  • Herb sack is convenient but not required; herbs can be noted on nearby tool leprechauns
  • Arrange teleports in route order and carry a one-click emergency teleport if using risky transport

STEP BY STEP

Run the method

  1. 1Before buying seeds, compare the seed cost with the live value of the expected herb yield.
  2. 2Teleport to the first patch, harvest the mature herbs, clear any dead plant, and note herbs at the leprechaun when inventory space runs low.
  3. 3Treat the patch with ultracompost, plant one seed, and move immediately to the next teleport.
  4. 4At the final patch, bank the herbs and rebuild the exact inventory for the next run.
  5. 5Return after the growth cycle; do not wait in-game. Pair the run with bird houses, contracts, or another recurring activity.

DETAILS

Mechanics that matter

Yield

A healthy herb patch gives a minimum harvest and then rolls for additional herbs. Farming level, magic secateurs, compost, and relevant boosts improve expected yield; they do not guarantee a fixed number.

Disease

Ultracompost greatly reduces disease risk. Some unlocked patches are disease-free. Resurrect Crops can recover a dead patch, but only use it when the seed value justifies the rune cost.

Seed choice

The most expensive herb is not automatically the most profitable. Calculate expected herb revenue minus seed and compost cost, then account for disease and the capital tied up in seeds.

Route design

A patch belongs in your route only if its expected profit exceeds the value of the extra travel time. Add distant patches as their teleports improve.

REAL RETURNS

YOUR EDGE

Unlocking more patches is permanent account progression. A consistent nine- or ten-patch route beats occasionally chasing the highest-margin seed.

WATCH FOR

Never use guide prices alone. Thin seed margins, disease, and slow herb sales can turn an apparently profitable crop negative.
