Zogres are encountered during the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest, and can be found in Jiggig and Jiggig Dungeon south-east of Castle Wars. When burying their bones in Jiggig, a skogre may appear and attack. Their name is a portmanteau of 'zombie ogre'. According to Juna, zogres fought for Zamorak during the God Wars and 'could repel the forces of Saradomin with their stench alone.'

Zogres are almost immune to normal weapons (you will hit just as often, but damage is reduced by 75%).^[1] Brutal arrows are effective against them, as is the Crumble Undead spell (however, damage is halved, for a maximum of 7). The salve amulet and its variants are effective against Zogres as they are undead.

Zogres are also capable of infecting the player with disease. Disease can be cured with Sanfew serum or Relicym's balm, the latter of which may be bought from Uglug Nar outside Jiggig for 200. An inoculation bracelet will prevent damage taken from disease, but will not grant immunity to becoming diseased.

When you attempt to bury their bones after killing them, a Skogre may spawn and attack you.
