Strength potion

A Strength potion is a potion that can be made by free-to-play players in addition to members. Both non-members and members can make a strength potion (4) by providing the Apothecary in Varrock with 5 coins, a limpwurt root, and red spiders' eggs. Members who have attained at least level 12 Herblore additionally have the ability to use a limpwurt root on a tarromin potion (unf), yielding a Strength potion(3) and 50 Herblore experience. A dose of Strength potion provides a temporary skill boost to Strength equal to 3 + 10% of the player's current Strength level, rounded down. This is less than the super Strength's and super combat potion's boost of 5 + 15% of the player's current Strength level, rounded down.

After Barbarian Herblore Training, roe or caviar can be added to a Strength potion(2), requiring 14 Herblore, yielding a Strength mix and 17 Herblore experience. A Strength mix has 2 doses, boosts Strength equal to 3 + 10% of the player's current Strength level, rounded down, and heals 3 Hitpoints.

A Strength potion(2) can occasionally be obtained from a chest inside the maze random event.

A Strength potion(3) can be purchased from the Warriors' Guild potion shop for 15 coins.

A Strength potion(4) is a reward from Jekyll and Hyde random events if a guam leaf is given to Dr Jekyll. If the player talks to Dr Jekyll and does not give a herb, then Dr Jekyll gives a Strength potion(2).

Having the Apothecary make a Strength potion is a requirement for completing the medium Varrock Diary and creating a Strength potion in the The Deeper Lode pub in Lovakengj is a requirement for completing the easy Kourend & Kebos Diary.

Strength boost is calculated with: ⌊StrengthLevel×110⌋+3

Stat boosts will decay at a rate of 1 point per minute, or 90 seconds with the use of Preserve.
