The Salve amulet (i) is the imbued form of the salve amulet, granting an additional 16.67%[1] increase in the wearer's ranged accuracy and damage, as well as a 15% increase for magic, when fighting undead monsters.
The salve amulet is imbued by using either 800,000 Nightmare Zonepoints (halved upon completing the hard combat achievements), 320 Soul Wars Zeal Tokens, or by using a scroll of imbuing on the amulet. Amulets imbued through the latter two methods do not count for completing the Ardougne Diary task.[2] Furthermore, amulets imbued at one location cannot be refunded at a different location.
^When uncharged, the scroll of imbuing is returned.
Effects and upgrades
For a list of monsters affected by the salve amulet, see here.
The salve amulet's bonuses against the undead do not stack with the black mask and slayer helmet's on-task bonuses; wearing both will only apply the bonuses of the salve amulet (i). However, the bonuses of Void Knight equipmentdoes stack. Additionally, the amulet's effects apply to all targets when using multi-hitting melee weapons in a multicombat area, such as the Scythe of Vitur and the special attack of the dragon 2h sword, but not for multi-hitting magic and ranged attacks (ex. chinchompas and burst spells).
The salve amulet (i) can also be enchanted, increasing all of the amulet's undead bonuses to 20%. This requires using Tarn's diary, acquired as part of the Lair of Tarn Razorlor miniquest.
The salve amulet's combat bonuses now apply to ghosts within Soul Wars.
