Insulated boots are a piece of Slayer equipment worn in the feet slot, requiring a Slayer level of 37 to wear them. They can be purchased from any Slayer Master.
Wearing the boots will protect the player against a variety of electric-based attacks, including:
- Reducing the max hit of a Killerwatt's ranged attack from 13 to 6
- Reducing the damage dealt by a rune dragon's electric attack from 2-5 to 0-2
- Reducing damage taken from the electric ball attack by 40% if it does not pass through Verzik Vitur during the second phase of the fight
- Nullifying the 10 damage taken during Darkness of Hallowvale, when improperly using the large ornate key directly on the door to the Meiyerditch Laboratories, rather than suspending it from the nearby vampyre statue[1]
