The Farming cape can be purchased for 99,000 coins alongside the Farming hood from Martin the Master Gardener at Draynor Village by players who have achieved skill mastery (level 99) in Farming. It is the Cape of Accomplishment for the Farming skill.
Like all skill capes, the Farming cape gives +9 to all defensive stats, and also a +4 bonus to prayer if it is trimmed, which requires a separate skill at level 99. The cape is automatically trimmed if this condition is met.
When the Farming cape is equipped, herb patches will have a 5% increase to the base chance to save harvest lives and gain extra herbs. This effect stacks additively with the magic secateurs. It also provides unlimited teleports to the Farming Guild in the Kebos Lowlands. Unlike the magic secateurs, this cape does not increase yield when harvesting herbs off a herbiboar.[1]
Like all skillcapes, equipping the cape or using the "Boost" option in the equipment menu temporarily boosts Farming by +1, up to 100. This only affects the yield of belladonna, as limpwurt plants require a boost to 101 for additional yield.[2] Unequipping the cape will remove the boost. This boost cannot be used to restore temporary skill drains.
This item can be stored in the cape rack of a costume room, as part of the Farming cape set, along with the hood. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.
The cape is noteworthy for providing an unlimited, wearable teleport that brings the player to the Farming Guild. The teleport location is close to both a bank, between 16 and 18 tiles, and a spirit tree, between 24 and 26 tiles, and therefore provides quick access to both the Grand Exchange and a player's house, as well as other locations.
As of 1 September 2026, there are 386,455 players that have achieved level 99 in Farming.

- Attempting to use the Farming Guild teleport if the player has never visited Great Kourend before gives the message You must travel to Great Kourend before you can use this teleport.
