The dragon mace is a one-handed spiked weapon and the strongest of the standard maces. It can only be wielded by players who have an Attack level of at least 60 and who have completed the Heroes' Quest.
The mace can be purchased for 50,000 coins at the Happy Heroes' H'emporium in the Heroes' Guild, or from other players.
It can also be obtained as a reward from elite clues and master clues.
It can be upgraded to the Dragon mace (bh) with a Dragon mace imbue scroll, which has a +4 increased stab and crush attack bonus. In addition, the special attack consumes only 15% special attack energy rather than 25%, and rolls against 60% of the target's crush defence rather than 100%. The upgraded version can only be used for PKing in the Bounty Hunter minigame.
As with most dragon equipment, the dragon mace cannot be made from raw materials using the Smithing skill.

Special attack
The dragon mace has a special attack called Shatter, which increases the player's accuracy by 25% and damage by 50%, while rolling against the target's crush defence. This attack consumes 25% of the player's special attack energy.
