Book of the Dead

The Book of the Dead is an equipable book obtained as a reward from completing A Kingdom Divided. Having it equipped or in the player's inventory is required when casting resurrection spells.

The book is an improved version of Kharedst's memoirs, and offers the same teleports. The book offers as an additional 150 charges over the memoirs, resulting in a maximum of 250 charges if all five of the pages from the original Kourend quests have been added.

If lost, the book can be reclaimed from Commander Fullore on the ground floor of the Kourend Castle. Additional copies can be purchased from Perdu for 9,500 coins each.

In order to recharge the book, players must inspect the Old Memorial north of Land's End.

Each charge costs one law, body, mind, and soul rune (521 per charge), and grants the player 10 Magic experience when added. Fully charging the book requires 250 law, body, mind, and soul runes, costing a total of 130,250 if bought from the Grand Exchange, and granting 2,500 Magic experience.

Players can reach the memorial via the following:

• Teleporting to the Kourend Woodland via Rada's blessing, then heading north-west.
• Teleporting to Xeric's Lookout via Xeric's talisman, then heading south-west.
• Teleporting to Shayzien via Book of the dead (History and Hearsay), then heading south-east.
• Taking a ship to Land's End by talking to Cabin Boy Herbert at Port Piscarilius or Port Sarim, then heading north.

Players cannot teleport past level 20 Wilderness.
