History and Hearsay is a quest reward for completing Tale of the Righteous.

It is used on Kharedst's memoirs to allow teleportation to Shayzien. If lost before being added to Kharedst's memoirs, a replacement can be claimed from Lord Shiro Shayzien in Shayzien.

After adding this page, using Kharedst's memoirs on the Grave digger results in unique dialogue, revealing that he is the grave digger who talked to Rose in the story.
