Silver dust can be obtained by grinding a silver bar in the bone grinder in the Ectofuntus. Unlike most ground ingredients in Herblore, silver cannot be ground down by a pestle and mortar. It is an ingredient for the Guthix balance potion, used on several types of Vampyre.
Silver dust is also used in While Guthix Sleeps, as it must be placed on the statue of balance within the Ancient Guthixian Temple along with the other Guthix balance ingredients to receive a balance dolmen.
